There are a lot of mice out there but all have pretty much the same form factor, the same buttons and the same style (black with accents, made of plastic, rubberized surface). It is way easier for me to write about what I liked because there are a lot more of these factors: Now that we seen the bad part, I suggest seeing what I liked about it. This is just me nitpicking and it really isn’t that obvious but the top being glass this was expected. It was because of the batteries (I think) and I didn’t had any problems after changing them but if I recall correctly, that wasn’t happening while using it with a Mac (it would simply disconnect when it was running low on battery). I couldn’t resist and I had to use my graphic’s tablet. I tried using it with Photoshop and Illustrator for creating some tshirt designs and while using a normal mouse for any kind of precision work makes me feel handicapped this made everything worse.

You can see the list of supported bluetooth receivers here but mine isn’t on there (probably because it’s over 5 years old) and it works wonderfully. Just download the installer and the drivers, install them and then… then you use it.

Fortunately, there is a driver that lets us, Windows users, use some standard gestures like 2 finger scroll and tap to click. Unfortunately, on Windows we don’t get the luxury of using all those 3/4 finger gestures, we don’t have mission control, exposé and all those snazzy features from OS X. All those gestures really give you a new feel for OS X and if you don’t have one I would highly recommend you get one. There are hundreds if not thousands of reviews on the Magic Trackpad on the internet and it truly is awesome, especially if you are using it on a Mac.
